Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 3 minutes, Garry Townsend managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Beaconsfield United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Garry Townsend was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 16 minutes into the match, Chaffley's Malcolm Grayson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Eddy Rouse narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Eddy Rouse made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Anthony Apsden in the 18th minute of play. Beaconsfield United's Perry Newman got a good chance for a goal in the 19th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 21st minute, Chaffley's Mattias Eastham seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Mattias Eastham the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Chaffley protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Mattias Eastham had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. 21 minutes into the game, one of Chaffley:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 23rd minute of the game, Beaconsfield United got a penalty. The shot went straight in by the left post. In the 28th minute, Karl Knight-Percival ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Eddy Rouse was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. When Garry Townsend came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Beaconsfield United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Garry Townsend couldn't finish the play. After having played for 36 minutes, Pete Kempson managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Jo Oddy made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Garry Townsend sent off a good shot on target. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pete Kempson in the 40th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Oddy saved Chaffley from getting behind. Chaffley's Malcolm Grayson got a good chance for a goal in the 44th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Garry Townsend struck a weak shot in the 46th minute. Jo Oddy didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Beaconsfield United. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The wind increased when Malcolm Grayson made the kick off in the second half. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Pete Kempson in the 55th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Jo Oddy saved Chaffley from getting behind. Garry Townsend received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Jo Oddy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Pete Kempson notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Chaffley's Jo Oddy. Jo Oddy was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Anthony Apsden during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Jo Oddy showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pete Kempson in the 73rd minute of the match. Malcolm Grayson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 75th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Eddy Rouse having to interfere. Pete Kempson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 79th minute. Jo Oddy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Pete Kempson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 86 minutes, Perry Newman mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Beaconsfield United and the Chaffley players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 86 played minutes Beaconsfield United got a freekick which was hit by Perry Newman. 89 minutes into the match, Beaconsfield United's Pete Kempson sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jo Oddy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 4-1 when Pete Kempson sped through Chaffley's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Jo Oddy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pete Kempson in the 94th minute of play forced Chaffley's goalkeeper Jo Oddy to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Pete Kempson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Jo Oddy tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 96th match minute, Chaffley was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Karl Knight-Percival to maneuver through the defense.
