Robbie Wicks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paul Mortlock in the 5th minute of the match. Quentin Colt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 7th minute. Ash Hanley tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ash Hanley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calvin Hickson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 12th minute, Paul Mortlock made a precise shot to the right of Robbie Wicks. Totnes AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Paul Mortlock might have been able to make a better finish in the 16th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Robbie Wicks. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Paul Mortlock ran back to his position shaking his head. Kasey Leeson took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 17th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Robbie Wicks. Totnes AFC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Robbie Wicks showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Johnathan Thornton, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Ash Hanley showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Calvin Hickson in the 26th minute of the match. Barrow upon Humber FC's Ash Hanley proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 31st minute of the match, managed to save Barrow upon Humber FC from getting a goal against them. When Paul Mortlock came up free with the goalie in the 35th minute, the Barrow upon Humber FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Mortlock couldn't finish the play. If Paul Mortlock had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Barrow upon Humber FC's Johnathan Thornton in the 38th minute got a chance for a shot 38th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Totnes AFC's goalie prevented a goal. The attack was good, but when Johnathan Thornton in the 39th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. After a defensive mix-up in Totnes AFC's zone, Paul Mortlock stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Robbie Wicks came out of the goal and Paul Mortlock tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Paul Mortlock sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The wind increased when Calvin Hickson made the kick off in the second half. Robbie Wicks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnathan Thornton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 59th minute, Kristopher Bass ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Ash Hanley was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Shawn Palmer charged in rather forcefully in the 64th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Shawn Palmer the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Barrow upon Humber FC getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Shawn Palmer hit a great ball. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 67th minute of the game. One of Totnes AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Barrow upon Humber FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Robbie Wicks, was totally fooled by Barrow upon Humber FC's Kasey Leeson, who 68 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. The supporters of Barrow upon Humber FC booed when Totnes AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 73 match minutes in a wonderful position. Todd Wright didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Johnathan Thornton in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Robbie Wicks saved Totnes AFC from getting behind. Lee Woodyat hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. 76 minutes into the match, Totnes AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Johnathan Thornton came free, but Robbie Wicks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Gaz Couch took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 85th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Ash Hanley. Barrow upon Humber FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Paul Mortlock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 91st minute of the match, but Robbie Wicks made a huge save. When Paul Mortlock came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Barrow upon Humber FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Mortlock couldn't finish the play. In the 98th match minute, Totnes AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lee Woodyat to maneuver through the defense. The Barrow upon Humber FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
