Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Louis McDermot started the match with the kick off. A collision led to Feltham getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Felix Garner hit a great ball. Barrie Dowrick's late challenge caught a Feltham's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Barrie Dowrick helped the player get up and apologised. Barrie Dowrick hit a great freekick 10 minutes into the match. Neil Osbon stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Louis McDermot's shot from short distance in the 14th minute. Feltham's Vince Cullen came free and shot a quick shot against goal 15 minutes in the game, fortunately Neil Osbon had problems saving as it came toward the left post. If Louis McDermot had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 29th minute of the match Rodd Dove shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Neil Osbon showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Louis McDermot might have been able to make a better finish in the 33rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Neil Osbon. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Louis McDermot ran back to his position shaking his head. Neil Osbon showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Louis McDermot in the 35th minute of the match. Neil Osbon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis McDermot, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Neil Osbon took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Louis McDermot, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Louis McDermot fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Neil Osbon having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
53 minutes into the game, Vince Cullen was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Feltham's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Swanmore the free kick. Allan Mitchell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Swanmore booed when Feltham was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gordon Hamilton didn't get a good kick on the ball. Neil Osbon showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Louis McDermot, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. Danny Bower hit a great freekick 66 minutes into the match. In the 69th minute, Allan Mitchell reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Ivor Day. The goal made the score 0-1. Swanmore's Neil Osbon played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Cullen in the 74th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Louis McDermot in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Neil Osbon saved Swanmore from getting behind. Neil Osbon made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Vince Cullen in the 78th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Allan Mitchell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Swanmore's supporters rose to their feet, but Allan Mitchell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ivor Day breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 86 minutes of play, Swanmore's Allan Mitchell made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Ivor Day was left in no man's land by his defense there! 93 minutes into the match, Feltham's Louis McDermot sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Neil Osbon narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
