Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Kristopher Pyrah started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Nathan Whitworth made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Caleb Sansom in the 3rd minute of play. Kristopher Pyrah might have been able to make a better finish in the 5th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Benjamin Boulton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kristopher Pyrah ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Greg Hutchins managed to get in a good position for a shot. Prescot's supporters rose to their feet, but Greg Hutchins was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Benjamin Boulton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Benjamin Boulton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Greg Hutchins in the 8th minute of the match. Byron Gilchrists short, quick shot in the 14thth minute got Nathan Whitworth to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Benjamin Boulton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Greg Hutchins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Caleb Sansom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 32nd minute, Kristopher Pyrah got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Prescot's Kristopher Pyrah got a good chance for a goal in the 33rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benjamin Boulton didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Greg Hutchins went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After a defensive mix-up in Prescot's zone, Byron Gilchrist stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Nathan Whitworth came out of the goal and Byron Gilchrist tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 49th minute Greg Hutchins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Boulton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Caleb Sansom made a kick off. Caleb Sansom recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Byron Gilchrist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 61st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 63rd minute Byron Gilchrist shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Nathan Whitworth saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 64 played minutes Prescot got a freekick which was hit by Bryan Bush. Kristopher Pyrah sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 74th minute the ball was on its way in behind West Wickham's goalkeeper Benjamin Boulton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Caleb Sansom had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Kristopher Pyrah received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 83rd minute. Benjamin Boulton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Greg Hutchins got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Orson Argent kicked well hit freekick during the 86th minute of the match. Greg Hutchins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 87th minute. Benjamin Boulton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, West Wickham was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Orson Argent to maneuver through the defense. The audience was convinced that Kristopher Pyrah's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Benjamin Boulton was relentless in the 92nd minute of the game. West Wickham's Benjamin Boulton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristopher Pyrah in the 97th minute of play.
