If Ian Graydon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Roger Mumford hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Carlton Duff made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Matty Howarth sent off a good shot on target. If Harry Burkinshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sly Griggs charged in rather forcefully in the 31st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Sly Griggs the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Wheaton Aston's Sly Griggs got a free kick in the 31st minute. 33 minutes into the match, Wheaton Aston's goal looked a bit too open when Perry Crawshaw came free, but Carlton Duff reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Jools Lamb showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harry Burkinshaw in the 36th minute of the match. Ian Graydon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jools Lamb having to interfere. Harry Burkinshaw received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Jools Lamb tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 47thth minute of the game Ian Graydon who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hacconby's Jools Lamb was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

51 minutes into the match, Wheaton Aston's Ian Graydon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Jools Lamb narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Jools Lamb made an important save on a dangerous shot by Harry Burkinshaw in the 56th minute. Ian Graydon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 59th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Matty Howarth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Harry Burkinshaw succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-1 in the 70th playminute. Carlton Duff took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Perry Crawshaw, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Harry Burkinshaw had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marek Markinson kicked well hit freekick during the 90th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, Hacconby's goalkeeper Jools Lamb had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Harry Burkinshaw. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
