Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cuddington's Frank Powell started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Frank Powell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ben Granger took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Stuart Hitchen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ben Granger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stuart Hitchen in the 13th minute of play. Cuddington's Rory Brady proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Cuddington from getting a goal against them. In the 17th minute, Glen Beckett hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Seb Slabber sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 1-0 became the score in the 32nd minute when Jez Allison elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Ben Granger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stuart Hitchen, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. Stuart Hitchen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Frank Powell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 44th minute. Ben Granger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 46 minutes, Adam Tully managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kemsing's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adam Tully was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Jez Allison to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 53 minutes, Stuart Hitchen managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Cuddington's supporters crossed their fingers, but Stuart Hitchen was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sean Kerr's late challenge caught a Kemsing's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Sean Kerr helped the player get up and apologised. Sean Kerr kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 58 minutes into the match, Jez Allison notched a goal, 2-0, to the right of Cuddington's Rory Brady. Rory Brady was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 66 played minutes Cuddington got a freekick which was hit by Sean Kerr. Sol Rice took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 66th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Rory Brady. Cuddington's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. 71 minutes into the match, Frank Powell had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ben Granger. Kemsing's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frank Powell was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Frank Powell was extremely unlucky when he, in the 75th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. In the 83rd minute the ball was on its way in behind Cuddington's goalkeeper Rory Brady, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 84th minute, Jez Allison managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kemsing's supporters rose to their feet, but Jez Allison was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Rory Brady breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Kemsing defense, Stuart Hitchen kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ben Granger. The Kemsing fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ben Granger should have stopped the shot. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
