Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Julian Hampton took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dylon Lewington sent away a hard shot on goal in the 4th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 5th minute Seth Morrell shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mick Mills saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vern Jeffrey kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Stewart Mills showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Keith Mann in the 15th minute of the match. In the 20th minute, Little Harrowden's Dane Pollock dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Dylon Lewington could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 27th minute of the match, but Mick Mills made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dylon Lewington got free with Mick Mills in the 29th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After a defensive mix-up in Horfield AFC's zone, Seth Morrell stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mick Mills came out of the goal and Seth Morrell tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Thanks to some nice moves Dylon Lewington could shoot a difficult shot in the 32nd minute, which Mick Mills however easily saved by the left post. Stewart Mills made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Hampton in the 33rd minute of play. Julian Hampton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Mills having to interfere. Keith Mann fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Stewart Mills having to interfere. 48 minutes into the match, Horfield AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Seth Morrell came free, but Mick Mills reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

Mick Mills showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylon Lewington, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. If Julian Hampton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. Trev Rotherfield hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. In the 96th minute, Horfield AFC's Keith Mann ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Stewart Mills. Stewart Mills yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-2. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Horfield AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
