In the 18th minute, Casey Dunning got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 26 minutes into the match, Princes Risborough's goal looked a bit too open when Justin Cadwallader came free, but Jermaine Barker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Alistair Bradley had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alistair Bradley struck a weak shot in the 34th minute. Stevie Westwood didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Princes Risborough. After 37 minutes, Jonathon Waple mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Princes Risborough and the Plymouth FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Princes Risborough's Jonathon Waple got a free kick in the 37th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Justin Cadwallader in the 38th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Jermaine Barker prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Jonathon Waple got his second yellow card in the match during the 40th minute which meant that he had to leave the ground. In the 40th minute, Jonathon Waple hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 43 played minutes Princes Risborough got a freekick which was hit by Stevie Carter.

When Peter Clist fell near the penalty area in the 55th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Plymouth FC's protests and gave Peter Clist a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Plymouth FC getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Peter Clist hit a great ball. Casey Dunning could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Stevie Westwood made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Princes Risborough's Alistair Bradley got a free kick in the 60th minute. When Jon Hughes-Guy fell near the penalty area in the 66th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Princes Risborough's protests and gave Jon Hughes-Guy a yellow card for diving instead. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 66th minute of the game. One of Princes Risborough:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Plymouth FC:s goal. In the 68th minute there was a penalty for Plymouth FC. John-Paul Sharples stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jermaine Barker. 1-0. Stevie Westwood made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stevie Carter in the 74th minute. Alistair Bradley sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 82 minutes into the match, Princes Risborough's Casey Dunning sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Stevie Westwood narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Princes Risborough booed when Plymouth FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Denny Constantine didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 86th minute by Casey Dunning got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 87th minute, Stevie Carter got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Casey Dunning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 100 minutes into the game, Plymouth FC's Justin Cadwallader nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jermaine Barker made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Plymouth FC had won after a very even match.
