Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Mike Lambert in the 4th minute of play forced everton's goalkeeper Liam Purkiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Rod Land managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hale AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rod Land was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liam Purkiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. everton's Connor Scorfield got a good chance for a goal in the 7th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 9 minutes into the game, one of Hale AFC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. In the 12th minute Connor Scorfield shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mike Love saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mike Love showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dylon Rushforth, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. Mike Love showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Connor Scorfield in the 16th minute of the match. After 19 minutes, Spike Nowland mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hale AFC and the everton players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 19th match minute, Hale AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Spike Nowland to maneuver through the defense. In the 21st minute of the match Glyn Osborn shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mike Love showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Darryl Milner hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Darryl Milner in the 27th minute of play forced everton's goalkeeper Liam Purkiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 32 played minutes everton got a freekick which was hit by Glyn Osborn. In the 33rd minute, Rod Land got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Darryl Milner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. During the 36th minute of the match Glyn Osborn completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Glyn Osborn a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Glyn Osborn hit a great freekick 37 minutes into the match. Thom Kalischer hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. 44 minutes into the match, Hale AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Dylon Rushforth came free, but Mike Love reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Hale AFC's Mike Love played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by CJ Robson in the 45th minute of play. Beinn Weeks kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. 47 minutes into the match, everton's goalkeeper Liam Purkiss had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rod Land. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Darryl Milner to strike the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Connor Scorfield in the 51st minute of play forced Hale AFC's goalkeeper Mike Love to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 54th play minutes CJ Robson shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Mike Love and just under the crossbar into goal. The supporters of everton booed when Hale AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Thom Kalischer didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Dylon Rushforth had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Liam Purkiss made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rod Land in the 62nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Hale AFC's Thom Kalischer got a free kick in the 68th minute. 68 minutes into the match, everton's Wesley Osmond broke free and took a long shot that unfortunately flew wide. A fine initiative that could have resulted in a goal. In the 71st minute, Beinn Weeks hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When CJ Robson came up free with the goalie in the 72nd minute, the everton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that CJ Robson couldn't finish the play. Dylon Rushforth fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 77th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mike Love having to interfere. Alex Small charged in rather forcefully in the 81st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Alex Small the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rod Land in the 84th minute of play forced everton's goalkeeper Liam Purkiss to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rio Verity hit a great freekick 87 minutes into the match. Liam Purkiss took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rod Land, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 92nd minute, Hale AFC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Beinn Weeks fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post.
