Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Connor Scorfield to make the kick off. Jeff Warden made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dylon Rushforth in the 78th minute of play. Jeff Warden took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Connor Scorfield, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Dennis Poate managed to get in a good position for a shot. Halton Holegate's supporters rose to their feet, but Dennis Poate was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Liam Purkiss breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. everton's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
