Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Dave Pool started the match with the kick off. Len Humphreys made a fantastic save in the 3rd minute, when Giles Bilham sent off a good shot on target. Verne Parkinson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dave Pool's shot from short distance in the 12th minute. In the 14th minute of the match, Shane Stayton tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Len Humphreys saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. A collision led to Tipton United getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Austin Naylor hit a great ball. Boozeon First's Verne Parkinson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vince Clarke in the 18th minute of play. Tipton United's Len Humphreys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Stayton in the 24th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Tipton United's Austin Naylor got a free kick in the 24th minute. Tipton United's Dave Pool got a good chance for a goal in the 27th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Shane Stayton struck a weak shot in the 29th minute. Len Humphreys didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Boozeon First. Brett Browne kicked well hit freekick during the 34th minute of the match. In the 39th minute Shane Stayton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Len Humphreys saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 41st minute, Boozeon First's Shane Stayton dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Tipton United's Len Humphreys played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shane Stayton in the 45th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Shane Stayton's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Len Humphreys was relentless in the 46th minute of the game. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

51 minutes into the game, Shane Stayton cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-0. Len Humphreys was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Len Humphreys took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shane Stayton, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 73 played minutes Boozeon First got a freekick which was hit by Giles Bilham. 74 minutes into the game, Dominic Blythe cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 3-1. When Austin Naylor fell near the penalty area in the 83rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Tipton United's protests and gave Austin Naylor a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Tipton United's Austin Naylor got a free kick in the 83rd minute. 85 minutes into the game, Boozeon First's Shane Stayton nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Len Humphreys made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 4-1. After 87 played minutes Boozeon First got a freekick which was hit by Giles Bilham. 89 minutes into the match, Dominic Blythe notched a goal, 4-2, to the right of Boozeon First's Verne Parkinson. Verne Parkinson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 94thth minute of the game Jeremy Nightingale who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Tipton United's Len Humphreys was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Boozeon First had played much better football throughout.
