Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Henry Hawke started the match with the kick off. Kristian Manson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Len Young tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A hard shot 10 in the game by Gareth Crosby from a close distance when the talented Len Young managed to make a qualified save. Ruislip Manor's players were relieved. If John Linkletter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 15th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Fowey United's Giles Davis got a free kick in the 17th minute. Fowey United's Dennis Crossley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by John Linkletter in the 18th minute of play. In the 20th match minute, Ruislip Manor was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lewis Hurst to maneuver through the defense. Fowey United's Gareth Crosby got a good chance for a goal in the 21st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 23 minutes into the match, Ruislip Manor's goalkeeper Len Young had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gareth Crosby. The audience thought a goal was coming when Gareth Crosby got free with Len Young in the 25th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Len Young showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kristian Manson, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. Kristian Manson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Len Young tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Gareth Crosby had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Fowey United's zone, Nicky Crocker stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dennis Crossley came out of the goal and Nicky Crocker tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Dennis Crossley took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Henry Hawke, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Len Young made an important save on a dangerous shot by Gareth Crosby in the 45th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

Kristian Manson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Len Young having to interfere. Giles Davis hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. Fowey United's Dennis Crossley played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Henry Hawke in the 58th minute of play. Len Young took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kristian Manson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lewis Elliott's late challenge caught a Ruislip Manor's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Lewis Elliott helped the player get up and apologised. Lewis Elliott kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. Ricky Abbotts kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. In the 66th minute Gareth Crosby shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Len Young saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Len Young made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristian Manson in the 67th minute of play. Gareth Crosby sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Giles Davis hit a great freekick 73 minutes into the match. After having played for 77 minutes, Henry Hawke managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ruislip Manor's supporters crossed their fingers, but Henry Hawke was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 81st minute, Gareth Crosby left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Fowey United fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a defensive mix-up in Ruislip Manor's zone, Kristian Manson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Len Young came out of the goal and Kristian Manson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ruislip Manor's Len Young played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Kristian Manson in the 91st minute of play. After 92 played minutes Ruislip Manor got a freekick which was hit by Lewis Hurst. After some fancy dribbling in the 95th minute, Henry Hawke managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ruislip Manor's supporters rose to their feet, but Henry Hawke was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dennis Crossley breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick.
