Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) England's Ronny Rutherford started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Glen Callery received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 3rd minute. Richard Rothwell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Glen Callery recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Pat Wright recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 14th minute, Ronny Rutherford got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. George Cheswick took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ronny Rutherford, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Pat Wright had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Bob Milner's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Richard Rothwell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 24th minute of play. George Cheswick showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ronny Rutherford, who was totally free with the ball in the 34th minute. After 34 played minutes Princess FC got a freekick which was hit by Stuart Tandy. A collision led to England getting a freekick after 37 minutes play. Hayden Bzeu hit a great ball. England's Richard Rothwell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bob Milner in the 39th minute of play. Ronny Rutherford fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 40th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without George Cheswick having to interfere. Ronny Rutherford received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. George Cheswick tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 44 minutes into the game, Stu Thompson was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Princess FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave England the free kick. Stu Thompson hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Glen Callery was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Pat Wright in the 54th minute of play forced Princess FC's goalkeeper George Cheswick to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Princess FC's George Cheswick played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ronny Rutherford in the 55th minute of play. With a little luck, England's Richard Rothwell got control of the ball when Bob Milner tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ronny Rutherford took the ball and in the 61 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised George Cheswick. George Cheswick dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Hayden Bzeu hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Bob Milner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Rothwell having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Princess FC got a freekick which was hit by Bob Milner. 73 minutes into the match, Bob Milner notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of England's Richard Rothwell. Richard Rothwell was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Princess FC booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Sam Fowler didn't get a good kick on the ball. 86 minutes into the match, England's goal looked a bit too open when Glen Callery came free, but Richard Rothwell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Bob Milner had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 87th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bob Milner struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Richard Rothwell didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Princess FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 91st minute, Glen Callery managed to get in a good position for a shot. Princess FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Glen Callery was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Rothwell breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Rob Sheppard kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
