Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Al Crocker got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd minute, Al Crocker made a precise shot to the right of Jude Bond. Holford City's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Casey Cotterill showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alfie Chambers, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Martyn Castleton got free with Casey Cotterill in the 10th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Holford City's Alfie Chambers managed to work through northwich's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Alfie Chambers dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. In the 21st minute the ball was on its way in behind northwich's goalkeeper Casey Cotterill, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Danny Bambrook kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. Casey Cotterill made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfie Chambers in the 29th minute of play. northwich's Al Crocker got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Len Carey fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jude Bond having to interfere. After 38 minutes, Chaz Edmonton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Holford City and the northwich players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 40th minute of the game. One of Holford City:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of northwich:s goal. In the 42nd minute there was a penalty for northwich. Joey Drake stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Jude Bond. 0-2. After a rather tough play, Holford City's Alfie Chambers got a free kick in the 45th minute. After 47 played minutes northwich got a freekick which was hit by Damien Staple. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Dan Reddington charged in rather forcefully in the 52nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Dan Reddington the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. With a little luck, Holford City's Jude Bond got control of the ball when Len Carey tried to sneak it across the goal line. 55 minutes into the match, Holford City's goalkeeper Jude Bond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Len Carey. Denzil Crocker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Jude Bond tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Terry Britton's late challenge caught a Holford City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Terry Britton helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to northwich getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Terry Britton hit a great ball. In the 74th match minute, northwich was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bob Deighton to maneuver through the defense. 77 minutes into the match, Holford City's goalkeeper Jude Bond had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Len Carey. After having played for 78 minutes, Damien Staple managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. northwich's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damien Staple was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Denzil Crocker managed to get in a good position for a shot. northwich's supporters rose to their feet, but Denzil Crocker was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jude Bond breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Len Carey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet as Denzil Crocker kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Jude Bond. That made the score 0-3 in the 93 minute of play. With a little luck, Holford City's Jude Bond got control of the ball when Len Carey tried to sneak it across the goal line. northwich's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
