Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dale Davis started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. Eddie Hopker stood somewhat misplaced when Dale Davis came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 4 minute. Paddy Dowdall's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dean Gaskell read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 9th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Warren Grayson in the 15th minute of play forced All-blacks's goalkeeper Dean Gaskell to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerry Dennison in the 16th minute of play forced Newton on Ouse's goalkeeper Eddie Hopker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All-blacks's Dean Gaskell played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Warren Grayson in the 18th minute of play. Gerry Dennison took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Eddie Hopker. Eddie Hopker dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-0. Dale Davis got in the 28th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Eddie Hopker handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. Gerry Dennison blasted a shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Eddie Hopker having to make a save. Dale Davis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Eddie Hopker tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 37 minutes into the match, All-blacks's goal looked a bit too open when Warren Grayson came free, but Dean Gaskell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 3-0.

The wind increased when Warren Grayson made the kick off in the second half. When All-blacks's Gerry Dennison in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Newton on Ouse's goalie prevented a goal. 54 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Dale Davis came free, but Eddie Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Danny Monk's late challenge caught a Newton on Ouse's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Danny Monk helped the player get up and apologised. In the 61stth minute of the game Warren Grayson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but All-blacks's Dean Gaskell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Dean Gaskell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Warren Grayson, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. 66 minutes into the match, Newton on Ouse's goal looked a bit too open when Gerry Dennison came free, but Eddie Hopker reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Eddie Hopker didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dale Davis went, in the 67th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-0 was the resulting score. Newton on Ouse's Eddie Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Davis in the 74th minute of play. Dean Gaskell made a fantastic save in the 76th minute, when Paddy Dowdall sent off a good shot on target. Dale Davis struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Eddie Hopker didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for All-blacks. Dale Davis sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Newton on Ouse's Eddie Hopker played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dale Davis in the 82nd minute of play. Eddie Hopker showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dale Davis, who was totally free with the ball in the 84th minute. In the 86th minute, Dale Davis made a precise shot to the right of Eddie Hopker. Newton on Ouse's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. All-blacks's Dean Gaskell proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 90th minute of the match, managed to save All-blacks from getting a goal against them. All-blacks were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Newton on Ouse for a fine match.
