Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Peter Masters got the match started through his kick off. Lenny Endean received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Damion Cheeseman came out and tried to block the shot, but Lenny Endean slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. Damion Cheeseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Peter Masters, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 14th minute, Ryan Childs fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Damion Cheeseman, passed just outside the right post. Tosh Ashton fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 16th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clive Adamson having to interfere. The supporters of Ingatestone booed when England was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kelvin Hook didn't get a good kick on the ball. Clive Adamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Gascoigne in the 24th minute of play. When Drew Gascoigne came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Ingatestone fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Drew Gascoigne couldn't finish the play. If Tosh Ashton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 34 minutes into the match, Drew Gascoigne notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of England's Clive Adamson. Clive Adamson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After having played for 37 minutes, Tosh Ashton managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ingatestone's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tosh Ashton was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ryan Childs hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. Kelvin Hook hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. After recieving a nice pass, Ingatestone's Damon Henman tried to score from far away in the 46th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 48th minute, Kristopher Bodsworth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Clive Adamson was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

56 minutes into the match, Ingatestone's goal looked a bit too open when Ryan Childs came free, but Damion Cheeseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 58th match minute, England was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lenny Endean to maneuver through the defense. Clive Adamson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kristopher Bodsworth in the 64th minute of the match. Damion Cheeseman showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ryan Childs in the 69th minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 73rd minute, Ryan Childs managed to get in a good position for a shot. England's supporters rose to their feet, but Ryan Childs was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Damion Cheeseman breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tosh Ashton kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. A collision led to Ingatestone getting a freekick after 76 minutes play. Pedro Colley hit a great ball. Ingatestone's Damion Cheeseman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Peter Masters in the 79th minute of play. Clive Adamson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Gascoigne in the 81st minute of play. Kristopher Bodsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 86th match minute, Ingatestone was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ian Rothery to maneuver through the defense. 90 minutes into the game, England's Peter Masters nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Damion Cheeseman made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-2. In the 97th minute, Ryan Childs had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. After 96 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Ingatestone! England succeeded in salvaging a draw, even though Ingatestone had controlled the match.
