Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kristopher Bodsworth got the match started through his kick off. If Les Mulligan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 3rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damion Cheeseman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Glenn Rushforth, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. 9 minutes into the match, Ingatestone's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Rushforth came free, but Damion Cheeseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. A collision led to Ingatestone getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Tosh Ashton hit a great ball. Les Mulligan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ingatestone's Damion Cheeseman proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 12th minute of the match, managed to save Ingatestone from getting a goal against them. In the 14th minute, Todd Shipley hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristopher Bodsworth in the 15th minute of play forced New Teamname's goalkeeper Casey Crocker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Casey Crocker made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristopher Bodsworth in the 24th minute of play. In the 27th minute, Kristopher Bodsworth ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casey Crocker was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 30th minute, Kevin Chadwick hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. New Teamname's Todd Shipley shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 31st minute of play. The shot was stopped by Damion Cheeseman but with some difficulty. If Les Mulligan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 37th minute of the match, Les Mulligan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Damion Cheeseman was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 39th minute, Les Mulligan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Damion Cheeseman was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-1. Stan Carey charged in rather forcefully in the 46th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stan Carey the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Stan Carey hit a great freekick 46 minutes into the match. In the 47th match minute, New Teamname was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Les Mulligan to maneuver through the defense.

After 53 played minutes New Teamname got a freekick which was hit by David Fenton. A collision led to New Teamname getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Wally Heslop hit a great ball. Ingatestone's Ian Rothery shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 56th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Casey Crocker but with some difficulty. Damion Cheeseman came out of the goal in the 62nd minute to try and stop a shot by New Teamname's Les Mulligan. But to his dismay, Les Mulligan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Damion Cheeseman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Glenn Rushforth in the 64th minute of play. Kristopher Bodsworth sent away a hard shot on goal in the 66th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a little luck, New Teamname's Casey Crocker got control of the ball when Kristopher Bodsworth tried to sneak it across the goal line. Damion Cheeseman made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Les Mulligan in the 70th minute of play. Damion Cheeseman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Glenn Rushforth, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Ian Rothery had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damion Cheeseman didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Les Mulligan went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 4-1 was the resulting score. 88 minutes into the match, Ingatestone's goal looked a bit too open when Glenn Rushforth came free, but Damion Cheeseman reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 94 minutes of play, Ingatestone's Ian Rothery made it 4-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Casey Crocker was left in no man's land by his defense there! The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. New Teamname had won after a very even match.
