Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Shawn Callery showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucas Stockton in the 4th minute of the match. Shawn Callery came out of the goal in the 5th minute to try and stop a shot by Wells's Lucas Stockton. But to his dismay, Lucas Stockton quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 9th minute, Dale Downing reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Stephen Barton. The goal made the score 1-1. Mitch Case recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 15th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mitch Case sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Mitch Case had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 24th minute, Tim Bonds hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Shawn Callery didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Lucas Stockton went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Mitch Case sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Totley City's Shawn Callery played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mitch Case in the 31st minute of play. Lucas Stockton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 32nd minute. Shawn Callery tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 36th minute, Jason Layfield hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Mitch Case received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

54 minutes into the match, Totley City's goalkeeper Shawn Callery had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mitch Case. In the 64th minute, Dom Perryman made a precise shot to the right of Stephen Barton. Wells's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. Stephen Barton made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dom Perryman in the 68th minute of play. After 71 played minutes Totley City got a freekick which was hit by Dom Perryman. In the 73rd minute Lucas Stockton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Shawn Callery saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Mitch Case sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Carlton Brazier kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. In the 86th minute, Dale Downing ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stephen Barton was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. Blair Bibby kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
