Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Drew Broom in the 6th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Shawn Callery prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Tim Bonds kicked well hit freekick during the 7th minute of the match. Shawn Callery made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Drew Broom in the 9th minute of play. John-Paul Moon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 11th minute. Dale Downing ran back to his position shaking his head. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dale Downing stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience was convinced that Dom Perryman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lenny Perryman was relentless in the 56th minute of the game.
