Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Mick Garnett got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute of the match Terry Oldham sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Jacob Gibson skillfully saved the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tris Featherson got free with Lewis Thackray in the 6th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sly Naylor hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Barrie Douglas was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 8th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Todd Mann sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Mick Garnett in the 20th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Lewis Thackray saved Guildford from getting behind. Lenny Cheesman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kris Griffiths hit a great freekick 33 minutes into the match. Jacob Gibson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Todd Mann, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Lewis Thackray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mick Garnett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 43rdth minute of the game Todd Mann who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Saint Denis FC's Jacob Gibson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mick Garnett in the 46th minute of play forced Guildford's goalkeeper Lewis Thackray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Todd Mann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Todd Mann to make the kick off. Lewis Thackray took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tris Featherson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 55 minutes into the match, Saint Denis FC's Mick Garnett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lewis Thackray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Lewis Thackray showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tris Featherson in the 57th minute of the match. The supporters of Saint Denis FC booed when Guildford was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 61 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Griffiths didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 62nd minute, Junior Cryan sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Guildford's Lewis Thackray didn't even have to move. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mick Garnett in the 66th minute of play forced Guildford's goalkeeper Lewis Thackray to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tris Featherson blasted a shot towards the goal in the 71st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Lewis Thackray having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Guildford's zone, Mick Garnett stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Lewis Thackray came out of the goal and Mick Garnett tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 78 minutes into the match, Saint Denis FC's Mick Garnett sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lewis Thackray narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Paddy Furlong kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. If Mick Garnett had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 84th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 84th minute, Tris Featherson ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Lewis Thackray was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. A collision led to Saint Denis FC getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Charlie Snowden hit a great ball. Lewis Thackray showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mick Garnett, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. If Tris Featherson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Saint Denis FC had played much better football throughout.
