Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Huey Horner started the match with the kick off. 4 minutes into the match, Hurworth City's goal looked a bit too open when Vance Galloway came free, but Edward Elliot reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 6th minute, East Horsley United's Vance Galloway dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. In the last second Edward Elliot throw himself and got hold of the ball when Vance Galloway in the 9thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post. Chris Foreman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a defensive mix-up in East Horsley United's zone, Jim Goodwin stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jeff Branson came out of the goal and Jim Goodwin tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 16 minutes, Ross Forbes mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Hurworth City and the East Horsley United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 15 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Hurworth City! Orson Hellen placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Hurworth City's Edward Elliot proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Hurworth City from getting a goal against them. When Liam Marsden fell near the penalty area in the 31st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored East Horsley United's protests and gave Liam Marsden a yellow card for diving instead. With a little luck, Hurworth City's Edward Elliot got control of the ball when Chris Foreman tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Elliot came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by East Horsley United's Vance Galloway. But to his dismay, Vance Galloway quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-0. If Chris Foreman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 42nd minute, Laurence Beavan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chris Foreman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Elliot having to interfere. Hurworth City's Edward Elliot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vance Galloway in the 45th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Vance Galloway to strike the kick off in the second half. 54 minutes into the game, Gwyn Bellamy was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. East Horsley United's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hurworth City the free kick. After 54 played minutes East Horsley United got a freekick which was hit by Gwyn Bellamy. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vance Galloway in the 56th minute of play forced Hurworth City's goalkeeper Edward Elliot to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Chris Foreman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Edward Elliot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Edward Elliot didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when East Horsley United's Vance Galloway shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 4-0 in the ordered_time% minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Devon Flemming during the 79th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 79 played minutes Hurworth City got a freekick which was hit by Devon Flemming. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Vance Galloway in the 84th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edward Elliot prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Hurworth City's Edward Elliot played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Chris Foreman in the 86th minute of play. In the 87th minute Vance Galloway shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edward Elliot saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chris Foreman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Edward Elliot having to interfere. Vance Galloway received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Edward Elliot tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Hurworth City's Devon Flemming got his second yellow card of the match in the 97th minute. The referee ordered Devon Flemming off the ground. The supporters of East Horsley United booed when Hurworth City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 98 match minutes in a wonderful position. Devon Flemming didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 99th minute of the match Orson Hellen shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Edward Elliot showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. East Horsley United had played much better football throughout.
