Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Alex Airton started the match with the kick off. 6 minutes into the match, Bromley Boys's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Airton came free, but Louie Hawkins reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Rex Billing took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ash Adcock, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 11 minutes into the game, Birmingham United's Basil Woodhead nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Louie Hawkins made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. A collision led to Bromley Boys getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Ash Adcock hit a great ball. Noel Beech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Billing having to interfere. In the 31st minute Alex Airton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Louie Hawkins saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Byron Sewell struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Rex Billing didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Bromley Boys. Tod Jowsey who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 38thth minute tested the skills of Rex Billing when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Noel Beech sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Birmingham United's Jamie Bartlett got a free kick in the 41st minute.

The wind increased when Noel Beech made the kick off in the second half. Noel Beech fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 52nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rex Billing having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Birmingham United's goal looked a bit too open when Christopher Fawcett came free, but Rex Billing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55th minute, Chaz Pelc hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Louie Hawkins made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Alastair Boatman sent off a good shot on target. Louie Hawkins showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alex Airton, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 66th minute of the match Dane Prior sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Rex Billing skillfully saved the ball. Birmingham United's Rex Billing played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Noel Beech in the 67th minute of play. 68 minutes into the game, Ash Adcock cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Rex Billing was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Josh Kearney hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Louie Hawkins was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Matty Rice. 75 minutes into the match, Bromley Boys's goalkeeper Louie Hawkins had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alastair Boatman. In the 78th minute Noel Beech shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rex Billing saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Birmingham United getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Jamie Bartlett hit a great ball. Alastair Boatman blasted a shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Louie Hawkins having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Adcock in the 88th minute of play forced Birmingham United's goalkeeper Rex Billing to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bromley Boys's Tod Jowsey got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Rex Billing made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ash Adcock in the 92nd minute of play. Alastair Boatman made a well adjusted shot against goal in the 93rdth minute coming free in front of the goal, but Louie Hawkins would not let the ball come through at any expense and made a nice save by the left post. 95 minutes into the match, Birmingham United's goal looked a bit too open when Tod Jowsey came free, but Rex Billing reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. There was no doubt that Bromley Boys were the better team. Bromley Boys's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
