Lance Flemming sent away a hard shot on goal in the 3rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ferencvaros's Matty Swain played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Higgins in the 6th minute of play. Streatham AFC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 18th minute, when Blair Paine scored to the left of an out of position Tommy Piercy, making the score, 1-0. Kirk Addison received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Matty Swain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Sacha Moxon had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tommy Piercy took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sacha Moxon, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Felix Higgins in the 33rd minute of play forced Ferencvaros's goalkeeper Matty Swain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Ferencvaros getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Blair Paine hit a great ball. After having played for 45 minutes, Kirk Addison managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Streatham AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kirk Addison was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Kirk Addison to make the kick off. In the 54th match minute, Ferencvaros was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dylan Bowler to maneuver through the defense. The long shot by Stu Slabber in the 55th minute really tested Matty Swain's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. If Lance Flemming had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kirk Addison fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matty Swain having to interfere. Felix Higgins might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Matty Swain. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Felix Higgins ran back to his position shaking his head. 77 minutes into the match, Ferencvaros's Lance Flemming sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tommy Piercy narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Kirk Addison sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sacha Moxon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 89th minute Sacha Moxon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tommy Piercy saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 91st minute, Streatham AFC's Kirk Addison ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Matty Swain. Matty Swain yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The Streatham AFC players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Ferencvaros from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
