Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Edward Cousins made the kick off which started today's match. Edward Cousins received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Stewart Cook tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Topsham's goal looked a bit too open when Edward Cousins came free, but Stewart Cook reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alastair Seaward kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. After 16 minutes, Quentin Hoskins mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Horsham and the Topsham players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 16 played minutes Horsham got a freekick which was hit by Quentin Hoskins. 17 minutes into the game, Rob Woodier recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Brett Addison. Rob Woodier showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. Rob Woodier received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Brett Addison tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Rich Townson fell near the penalty area in the 25th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Horsham's protests and gave Rich Townson a yellow card for diving instead. Rich Townson hit a great freekick 25 minutes into the match. In the 26th minute of the match, Ted Hitchcock tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Brett Addison saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 28th minute, Edward Cousins ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Stewart Cook was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. Rob Woodier fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Brett Addison having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Woodier got free with Brett Addison in the 38th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Brett Addison was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ted Hitchcock showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 40 minute of play. Stewart Cook showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Cousins in the 47th minute of the match. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-1 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ted Hitchcock made the kick off in the second half. 56 minutes into the match, Rob Woodier notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Horsham's Brett Addison. Brett Addison was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alastair Seaward hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Horsham's Rich Townson got his second yellow card of the match in the 62nd minute. The referee ordered Rich Townson off the ground. Rich Townson kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. Brett Addison showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ted Hitchcock in the 64th minute of the match. If Syd Haper had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Horsham's Brett Addison played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ted Hitchcock in the 72nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Topsham's Romeo Bacon got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Topsham's Stewart Cook proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Topsham from getting a goal against them. Topsham's Rob Woodier got a good chance for a goal in the 90th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 93rd minute Rob Woodier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Brett Addison saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 94 minutes into the match, Horsham's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Woodier came free, but Brett Addison reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. For all the effort they put into the match, the Horsham players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Topsham.
