Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dominic Gardner recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 6th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gav Neville fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eriks Engineering FC's protests and gave Gav Neville a yellow card for diving instead. In the 13th minute, Gav Neville hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 14th minute, Sam Price got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Eriks Engineering FC's Dominic Gardner in the 18th minute got a chance for a shot 18th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Wanborough FC's goalie prevented a goal. In the 18th match minute, Wanborough FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ashley Gray to maneuver through the defense. Theo Pointon struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Barney Woods didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eriks Engineering FC. 26 minutes into the game, Ashley Gray was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Wanborough FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Eriks Engineering FC the free kick. Ashley Gray hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. In the 28th minute the ball was on its way in behind Eriks Engineering FC's goalkeeper Paul Wilson, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Kurt Halliwell sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Kurt Halliwell struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Paul Wilson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Wanborough FC. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kurt Halliwell in the 37th minute of play forced Eriks Engineering FC's goalkeeper Paul Wilson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Barney Woods took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dominic Gardner, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Sam Price made a kick off. Matthew Weston kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Eriks Engineering FC's zone, Sam Price stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Paul Wilson came out of the goal and Sam Price tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sam Price sent away a hard shot on goal in the 56th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 59 minutes into the match, Eriks Engineering FC's goalkeeper Paul Wilson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kurt Halliwell. If Sam Price had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sam Price received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 64th minute. Paul Wilson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 76th minute, Wanborough FC's Sam Price dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-1. Dominic Gardner fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Barney Woods having to interfere. In the 89th match minute, Wanborough FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robbie Downton to maneuver through the defense. The audience held their breath when Jude Knowles in the 91st minute of the game managed to trick the opponents defenses and fired away a shot outside the goal on the Barney Woods's left hand side. When Jude Knowles fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Eriks Engineering FC's protests and gave Jude Knowles a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Eriks Engineering FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Jude Knowles hit a great ball. Paul Wilson was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 96th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Denzil McCartney.
