Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Loyd Lofthouse started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. When Greg Haugue fell near the penalty area in the 2nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Welling's protests and gave Greg Haugue a yellow card for diving instead. In the 2nd minute, Greg Haugue hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Loyd Lofthouse's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Duncan Little read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 8th minute of play. Liam Chappell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Rich Hurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Liam Chappell's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rich Hurst read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 21st minute of play. When Welling's Loyd Lofthouse in the 25th minute got a chance for a shot 25th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye DSGaming's goalie prevented a goal. Loyd Lofthouse sent away a hard shot on goal in the 27th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Liam Chappell received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Rich Hurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Al Newlyn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 36 minutes into the match, Loyd Lofthouse notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of DSGaming's Duncan Little. Duncan Little was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The supporters of Welling booed when DSGaming was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dean Burgess didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jay Beck recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Loyd Lofthouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Little having to interfere.

The wind increased when Liam Chappell made the kick off in the second half. After some careless play in the Welling defense, Liam Chappell kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Rich Hurst. The Welling fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Rich Hurst should have stopped the shot. Jay Beck received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Rich Hurst tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 69 played minutes Welling got a freekick which was hit by Al Newlyn. Al Newlyn sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet as Loyd Lofthouse kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Duncan Little. That made the score 1-3 in the 75 minute of play. In the 79th minute, Welling's Loyd Lofthouse ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Duncan Little. Duncan Little yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-4. A collision led to Welling getting a freekick after 85 minutes play. Karl Pullen hit a great ball. Wally Bzeu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 85th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Loyd Lofthouse fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Duncan Little having to interfere. If Jay Beck had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 98th minute Jay Beck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rich Hurst saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The DSGaming supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Welling's performance. The match ended with a win for Welling.
