Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Leigh Fayle got the match started through his kick off. After having played for 3 minutes, Leigh Fayle managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Trinidad's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leigh Fayle was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leigh Fayle in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Tristan Little prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Trinidad's Quentin Parkin got a free kick in the 15th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Timothy Anson got free with Ivan England in the 18th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Matthew Jones during the 21st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 21st minute, Matthew Jones hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 23 minutes, Chesney Farrow mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Grimsby City and the Trinidad players grew even worse after the yellow card. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Leigh Fayle managed to get in a good position for a shot. Trinidad's supporters rose to their feet, but Leigh Fayle was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tristan Little breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ivan England was a little too slow when Paddy Chadwick got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 32nd minute. The score was now 1-0. The supporters of Trinidad booed when Grimsby City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 35 match minutes in a wonderful position. Derek Wing didn't get a good kick on the ball. The audience was convinced that Reuben Champion's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Tristan Little was relentless in the 36th minute of the game. After 37 played minutes Grimsby City got a freekick which was hit by Vinnie Dodgson. 47 minutes in the game, Paddy Chadwick fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Ivan England having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paddy Chadwick was the one to do the kick off. Reuben Champion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Little having to interfere. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Trinidad's Leigh Fayle in the 59th minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Tristan Little was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Grimsby City through an amazing save. The supporters of Trinidad booed when Grimsby City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 60 match minutes in a wonderful position. Chesney Farrow didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 63 minutes, Tony Mawson mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Trinidad and the Grimsby City players grew even worse after the yellow card. Tony Mawson hit a great freekick 63 minutes into the match. When Paddy Chadwick came up free with the goalie in the 65th minute, the Grimsby City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paddy Chadwick couldn't finish the play. Through an outstanding action, after 68 minutes, Tristan Little successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Leigh Fayle received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Tristan Little tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Tristan Little showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Leigh Fayle in the 72nd minute of the match. Grimsby City's Tristan Little proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Grimsby City from getting a goal against them. After 77 played minutes Leigh Fayle rounded Grimsby City's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-1. Leigh Fayle recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 83rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Tristan Little made a fantastic save in the 85th minute, when Reuben Champion sent off a good shot on target. Reuben Champion fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tristan Little having to interfere. In the 88th match minute, Trinidad was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Philip Bryden to maneuver through the defense. In the 91st minute, Reuben Champion left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Trinidad fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. After a rather tough play, Grimsby City's Mark Garner-Currie got a free kick in the 95th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leigh Fayle in the 96th minute of play forced Grimsby City's goalkeeper Tristan Little to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Trinidad players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Grimsby City from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
