Donald Corbridge kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. After 7 played minutes Ron Rider shot from long distance. At first the shot seemed to be simple for Bristol Fishponds United's Ivan Moore to catch but Ron Rider was lucky. It became 0-1 after the goalkeeper had been careless and dropped the ball into goal. Ivan Moore took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sol Green, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Sol Green sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 29 minutes, Donald Corbridge mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bristol Fishponds United and the Kingswear United players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Bristol Fishponds United's Donald Corbridge got a free kick in the 29th minute. After having played for 33 minutes, Sol Green managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Kingswear United's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sol Green was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ivan Moore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ben Commons in the 39th minute of the match. Ben Commons sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sol Green came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the Kingswear United fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Sol Green couldn't finish the play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ruben Rutherford made a kick off. After 59 minutes, Jason Caine made it 1-1 with a short kick to the right side. Kingswear United's Ethan Edwards tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Matthew Holland's late challenge caught a Bristol Fishponds United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Matthew Holland helped the player get up and apologised. Matthew Holland kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. 69 minutes into the match, Kingswear United's goal looked a bit too open when Jason Caine came free, but Ethan Edwards reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ivan Moore acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 73rd minute, took the ball on the long shot from Freddie Lowe. In the 77th minute, Lloyd Nottingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Ben Commons who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 79thth minute tested the skills of Ivan Moore when he managed to save the team from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Kingswear United's zone, Jason Caine stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ethan Edwards came out of the goal and Jason Caine tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Ben Commons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Moore having to make a save. In the 89th minute, Sean Alsford hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Kingswear United's Ron Rider couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 90th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Bristol Fishponds United. Ivan Moore showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sol Green in the 92nd minute of the match. Ben Commons blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ivan Moore having to make a save. Ben Commons recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 96th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bristol Fishponds United's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
