The Boston fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Don Key in the 16th minute of play forced Boston's goalkeeper Darren Crooks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 19 minutes into the match, Boston's goal looked a bit too open when Don Key came free, but Darren Crooks reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Warrington warrior defense, Alfie Lane kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Ollie Attwood. The Warrington warrior fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Ollie Attwood should have stopped the shot. An unexpectedly hard shot by Casey Caine in the 24th minute of play forced Warrington warrior's goalkeeper Ollie Attwood to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Don Key struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Darren Crooks didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Warrington warrior. After 38 minutes, Graeme Seal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Boston and the Warrington warrior players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 39th minute, Don Key got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Casey Caine made a kick off. Darren Crooks took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Don Key, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Tim Hollingsworth during the 67th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 69th match minute, Boston was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Casey Caine to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Warrington warrior booed when Boston was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barney Sedgemore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Boston's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Don Key 91 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 3-1. Barney Sedgemore hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. Warrington warrior's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
