Darren Craven who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 24thth minute tested the skills of Martyn Cheeseman when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Martyn Cheeseman stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alastair West's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Dale Furlong showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Denzil Bettinson in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29thth minute of the game Alastair West who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Geddington City's Martyn Cheeseman was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Martyn Cheeseman showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alastair West, who was totally free with the ball in the 30th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Crowthorne's Alastair West in the 32nd minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Martyn Cheeseman was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Geddington City through an amazing save. Martyn Cheeseman was out of position in the 34 minute of play, and Alastair West capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal.
