Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Ron Dlyan got the match started through his kick off. When Byron Kemp came up free with the goalie in the 3rd minute, the Pondersbridge AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Byron Kemp couldn't finish the play. 10 minutes into the match, Pondersbridge AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Ron Dlyan came free, but Jo Poole reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ron Dlyan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Jo Poole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Zaq Shephard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Jo Poole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jo Poole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaq Shephard in the 33rd minute of the match. Zaq Shephard received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Jo Poole tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ron Dlyan had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 38th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 42nd minute Byron Kemp shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Owen Walton saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes chealsea got a freekick which was hit by Sammy Houghton.

Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Byron Kemp in the 52nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Owen Walton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 54 minutes into the match, chealsea's goal looked a bit too open when Byron Kemp came free, but Owen Walton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes had been played when some careless play by chealsea's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Norman Woolcock was slow to take the kick. During this time Pondersbridge AFC's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Norman Woolcock got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Owen Walton quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Jo Poole showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zaq Shephard in the 61st minute of the match. Ray Merchant fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Owen Walton having to interfere. Owen Walton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Byron Kemp in the 75th minute of the match. Zaq Shephard in the 79thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Jo Poole, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Ron Dlyan's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jo Poole read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 83rd minute of play. Byron Kemp recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 86th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Owen Walton took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Byron Kemp, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Steve Walker in the 92nd minute really tested Jo Poole's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Harry Hibbert's late challenge caught a chealsea's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Harry Hibbert helped the player get up and apologised. Harry Hibbert hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Zaq Shephard managed to get in a good position for a shot. chealsea's supporters rose to their feet, but Zaq Shephard was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jo Poole breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ron Dlyan in the 95th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Jo Poole showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ron Dlyan, who was totally free with the ball in the 97th minute. For all the effort they put into the match, the chealsea players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Pondersbridge AFC.
