Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Leo Letheren started the match with the kick off. The supporters of Dersingham AFC booed when Dorchester AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Archie Gomersall didn't get a good kick on the ball. Danny Crouch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Max Bush having to interfere. In the 6th match minute, Dorchester AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Archie Gomersall to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Dersingham AFC's Stew Weedon tried to score from far away in the 6th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. If Leo Letheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Max Bush came out of the goal in the 17th minute to try and stop a shot by Dersingham AFC's Lloyd Beevers. But to his dismay, Lloyd Beevers quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Lloyd Beevers in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Bush prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 22nd minute, Leo Letheren got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 28th minute of the match Stew Weedon shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Max Bush showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Leo Letheren got in the 30th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Max Bush handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 37thth minute of the game Danny Crouch who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Dorchester AFC's Max Bush was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 37 minutes into the game, Ken Mumford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dorchester AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dersingham AFC the free kick. A collision led to Dorchester AFC getting a freekick after 38 minutes play. Ken Mumford hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the game, Dersingham AFC's Danny Crouch nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Max Bush made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. In the 45th minute Danny Crouch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Max Bush saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Dorchester AFC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Glen Moss hit a great ball. Max Bush stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leo Letheren's shot from short distance in the 47th minute. After the first half Dersingham AFC were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Zaq Thomas to strike the kick off in the second half. Dersingham AFC's Derek Townsend played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zaq Thomas in the 51st minute of play. After 54 played minutes Dorchester AFC got a freekick which was hit by Archie Gomersall. Archie Gomersall hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. Danny Crouch sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Max Bush managed to avoid a goal in the 62ndth minute, when Dersingham AFC's Danny Crouch fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Danny Crouch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Max Bush tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Leo Letheren in the 68th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Max Bush prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If Leo Letheren had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Dorchester AFC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Stuart Graves hit a great ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Dersingham AFC's Leo Letheren slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Max Bush. That made the score 0-3 after 80 minutes of play. Derek Townsend came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Dorchester AFC's Zaq Thomas. But to his dismay, Zaq Thomas quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. From close distance Leo Letheren pressed in the 1-4 goal high up into nets stiches in the right cross 89 minutes into the game. Max Bush didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Danny Crouch went, in the 95th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-5 was the resulting score. Dersingham AFC played a much better game than Dorchester AFC and deserved their victory. The Dorchester AFC players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
