After some fancy dribbling in the 30th minute, Stephen Weir managed to get in a good position for a shot. Kmaster FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Stephen Weir was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The referee gave Kmaster FC a penalty, 50 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Joe La Forte, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Dersingham AFC's Derek Townsend. 0-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-3.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stephen Weir made a kick off. In the 65th minute, Leo Letheren ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mike Rundle was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-3. In the 68th minute, Tristram Wendon fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Derek Townsend, passed just outside the right post. 73 minutes into the game, Buster Parsons was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kmaster FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dersingham AFC the free kick. After a rather tough play, Kmaster FC's Rob Biernat got a free kick in the 81st minute. Tristram Wendon fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Derek Townsend having to interfere. Derek Townsend made a fantastic save in the 86th minute, when Tristram Wendon sent off a good shot on target. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Danny Crouch in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mike Rundle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 93rd minute, Stephen Weir got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Danny Crouch struck a weak shot in the 100th minute. Mike Rundle didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Dersingham AFC.
