Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ash Hughes kicked off to start the match. In the 4thth minute of the game Kris Falkingham who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Nottingham's Guy Fairs was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ash Hughes in the 6th minute of play forced Tooting United's goalkeeper Henry Morcom to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Tooting United's Greg Bridgeman got a good chance for a goal in the 9th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kris Falkingham might have been able to make a better finish in the 10th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Guy Fairs. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kris Falkingham ran back to his position shaking his head. Guy Fairs took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kris Falkingham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Greg Bridgeman in the 16th minute of play forced Nottingham's goalkeeper Guy Fairs to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19th minute, Kris Falkingham hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Nottingham's zone, Greg Bridgeman stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Guy Fairs came out of the goal and Greg Bridgeman tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After a rather tough play, Tooting United's Barry Barber got a free kick in the 31st minute. An unexpected shot in the 32nd minute by Ash Hughes got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 33rd minute, Nathan Butterworth hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Max Bull made a great header on Nottingham's corner, it was just that Tooting United's Henry Morcom managed to reach the ball for a save. Nottingham's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Max Bull in the 38th minute. Chip Bateman tried in the 38th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Henry Morcom a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-0. In the 47th minute, Kris Falkingham got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Greg Bridgeman made a kick off. Greg Bridgeman was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 54th minute. Tooting United's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Barry Barber fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Fairs having to interfere. The audience was convinced that Greg Bridgeman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Guy Fairs was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. Ash Hughes fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Henry Morcom having to interfere. Greg Bridgeman fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Fairs having to interfere. Phil Winstanley's late challenge caught a Tooting United's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Phil Winstanley helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Nottingham getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Phil Winstanley hit a great ball. Nottingham's Guy Fairs proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 78th minute of the match, managed to save Nottingham from getting a goal against them. Kris Falkingham took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Guy Fairs. Guy Fairs dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. Kris Falkingham fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 88th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Guy Fairs having to interfere. Kris Falkingham's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 91stth minute, Guy Fairs skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Greg Bridgeman in the 93rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Guy Fairs saved Nottingham from getting behind. Greg Bridgeman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Guy Fairs tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Guy Fairs came out of the goal in the 96th minute to try and stop a shot by Tooting United's Kris Falkingham. But to his dismay, Kris Falkingham quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2.
