Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Will Watkins started the match with the kick off. If Ian Cheetham had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 10th minute, Ian Cheetham managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallasey City's supporters rose to their feet, but Ian Cheetham was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Kidd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 14 played minutes Wallasey City got a freekick which was hit by Leigh Venables. After some fancy dribbling in the 16th minute, Matthew Mansell managed to get in a good position for a shot. Wallasey City's supporters rose to their feet, but Matthew Mansell was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Richard Kidd breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Will Watkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ian Cheetham sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ian Cheetham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Richard Kidd made a huge save. A collision led to Danbury getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Brett Amos hit a great ball. Wallasey City's Reggie Phimister couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 34th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Danbury. 36 minutes into the match, Wallasey City's Ian Cheetham sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Richard Kidd narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 38th minute Will Watkins shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kyle Scholey saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ian Cheetham in the 46th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Richard Kidd saved Danbury from getting behind. After having played for 47 minutes, Austen Bryant managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Danbury's supporters crossed their fingers, but Austen Bryant was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

Richard Kidd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ian Cheetham, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Danbury getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Brett Amos hit a great ball. Matthew Mansell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Kidd having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Danbury's Will Watkins sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kyle Scholey narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Will Watkins had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. A collision led to Danbury getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Brett Amos hit a great ball. Will Watkins struck a weak shot in the 72nd minute. Kyle Scholey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Danbury. Kyle Scholey showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Will Watkins, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute. In the 75th minute, Leigh Venables hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Austen Bryant could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Kyle Scholey made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Matthew Mansell in the 80th minute of play forced Danbury's goalkeeper Richard Kidd to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Austen Bryant struck a weak shot in the 88th minute. Kyle Scholey didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Danbury. Kyle Scholey made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Austen Bryant sent off a good shot on target. Neither set of supporters seemed pleased with the draw, but both teams had played equally well today.
