Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Thomas Boothroyd got the match started through his kick off. In the 4th minute, Austen Bryant hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Danbury's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Thomas Boothroyd 10 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-0. Josh Naisbitt showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Will Watkins in the 25th minute of the match. Josh Naisbitt came out of the goal in the 26th minute to try and stop a shot by Danbury's Austen Bryant. But to his dismay, Austen Bryant quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. After having played for 29 minutes, Damion Foggarty managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Alnwick's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damion Foggarty was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Danbury booed when Alnwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 34 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stew Bower didn't get a good kick on the ball. The attack was good, but when Will Watkins in the 36th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Danbury's Richard Kidd played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Thomas Boothroyd in the 38th minute of play. Josh Naisbitt didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Austen Bryant went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Damion Foggarty took the ball and in the 44 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Richard Kidd. Richard Kidd dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. The first half was very even, with the score at 2-2 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Will Watkins to make the kick off. In the 52nd minute, Austen Bryant got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Damion Foggarty fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Richard Kidd having to interfere. Kurt Buckle kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. Richard Kidd took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damion Foggarty, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The long shot by Sammy Linkletter in the 60th minute really tested Josh Naisbitt's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Damion Foggarty received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Richard Kidd tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Austen Bryant sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 68th minute, Stew Bower hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 73 minutes of play, Alnwick's Damion Foggarty made it 3-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Richard Kidd was left in no man's land by his defense there! Danbury's Austen Bryant got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Austen Bryant recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Alnwick's Josh Naisbitt played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Will Watkins in the 81st minute of play. The supporters of Danbury booed when Alnwick was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 82 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stewart Southgate didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Austen Bryant had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 89th minute Damion Foggarty shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Richard Kidd saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 92 minutes into the game, Albert Bamford was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Alnwick's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Danbury the free kick. Albert Bamford kicked well hit freekick during the 92nd minute of the match. A hard shot by Terry Harrison from long distance, 97 minutes into the match, got Josh Naisbitt's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side.
