When Monkeys Village FC's Ed Ambrose in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Benjamin Barnfield blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Calum Hall having to make a save. Lennie Charlton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 28th minute. Calum Hall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lennie Charlton in the 33rd minute of play forced Monkeys Village FC's goalkeeper Calum Hall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Mick Hinshelwood charged in rather forcefully in the 33rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mick Hinshelwood the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Mick Hinshelwood kicked well hit freekick during the 33rd minute of the match. If Benjamin Barnfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 35th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Benjamin Barnfield struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Calum Hall didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chelski FC. Ed Ambrose received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Duncan McNiven tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Calum Hall made an important save on a dangerous shot by Benjamin Barnfield in the 44th minute. If Benjamin Barnfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Lennie Charlton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Calum Hall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute Lennie Charlton shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Calum Hall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The score stood at 0-0 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

After 54 minutes, Mark Le Tissier mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chelski FC and the Monkeys Village FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Chelski FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 54th minute. Penalty! Duncan McNiven went to the wrong direction when Lance Chambers was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Duncan McNiven showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ed Ambrose, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. When Matt Howarth came up free with the goalie in the 60th minute, the Monkeys Village FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Howarth couldn't finish the play. Lance Chambers kicked well hit freekick during the 62nd minute of the match. 65 minutes into the match, Chelski FC's Lennie Charlton sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Calum Hall narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Benjamin Barnfield fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Hall having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ed Ambrose in the 74th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Duncan McNiven saved Chelski FC from getting behind. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Max Barker during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monkeys Village FC's Max Barker got a free kick in the 77th minute. The supporters of Monkeys Village FC booed when Chelski FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 80 match minutes in a wonderful position. Andre Bevan didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Ed Ambrose came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Monkeys Village FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ed Ambrose couldn't finish the play. If Benjamin Barnfield had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Lennie Charlton, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 87 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Calum Hall was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 92ndth minute of the game Ed Ambrose who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Chelski FC's Duncan McNiven was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Monkeys Village FC players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Chelski FC.
