Street's supporters rose to their feet, but Jasper Ryder was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Duncan McNiven stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Jasper Ryder's shot from short distance in the 84th minute. Duncan McNiven took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Ryder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jasper Ryder in the 89th minute of play forced Chelski FC's goalkeeper Duncan McNiven to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Johnny Bale stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Lennie Charlton's shot from short distance in the 95th minute.
