Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Street's Jasper Ryder started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Lance Theobald hit a great freekick 2 minutes into the match. Calum Hall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jasper Ryder, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. When Max Barker fell near the penalty area in the 13th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monkeys Village FC's protests and gave Max Barker a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monkeys Village FC getting a freekick after 14 minutes play. Max Barker hit a great ball. Vance Willoughby was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 14th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Monkeys Village FC's Calum Hall proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save Monkeys Village FC from getting a goal against them. Matt Howarth took the ball and in the 17 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Johnny Bale. Johnny Bale dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 28 minutes into the game, Jasper Ryder was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Street's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Monkeys Village FC the free kick. In the 28th minute, Jasper Ryder hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Street's goalkeeper Johnny Bale, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Jasper Ryder had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Matt Howarth came up free with the goalie in the 36th minute, the Monkeys Village FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matt Howarth couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 38th minute, Matt Howarth managed to get in a good position for a shot. Monkeys Village FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Matt Howarth was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Johnny Bale breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After 39 played minutes Street got a freekick which was hit by Lance Theobald. Matt Howarth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Johnny Bale tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Ed Ambrose to strike the kick off in the second half. Calum Hall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jasper Ryder, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Matt Howarth received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Johnny Bale came out and tried to block the shot, but Matt Howarth slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 60th minute. If Scott Dunning had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Monkeys Village FC's Max Barker got a free kick in the 65th minute. In the 67th minute, Ed Ambrose hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 68th minute the ball was on its way in behind Monkeys Village FC's goalkeeper Calum Hall, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Scott Dunning sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Scott Dunning fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 76th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Calum Hall having to interfere. Jasper Ryder received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Calum Hall tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 81 minutes, Bobby Bayliff mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Street and the Monkeys Village FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Bobby Bayliff hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. Ed Ambrose recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 82nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 84th minute, Matt Howarth got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 86th minute, Darren Newlyn hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Calum Hall came out of the goal in the 89th minute to try and stop a shot by Street's Jasper Ryder. But to his dismay, Jasper Ryder quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. Max Barker was shown his second yellow card after 94 minutes, following a rather ugly tackle on opponent. That was the end of his participation in the match. A collision led to Monkeys Village FC getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Max Barker hit a great ball. After 96 played minutes, Street's Vance Willoughby shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Calum Hall came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Street reached it. In the 98th minute, Street's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Ed Ambrose fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The Street supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Monkeys Village FC's performance. The match ended with a win for Monkeys Village FC.
