Dominik Sandell's late challenge caught a Manchester City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dominik Sandell helped the player get up and apologised. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlton Moxon got free with Kristian Cain in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 10th minute, Chip Carey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 11th minute, Carlton Moxon got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpected shot in the 17th minute by Ollie Curtis got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Carlton Moxon managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husbands Bosworth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carlton Moxon was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Kristian Cain breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, Manchester City's Kristian Cain got control of the ball when Carlton Moxon tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carlton Moxon got free with Kristian Cain in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. A well placed Ollie Curtis short distance shot in the 25th minute ended with a hard ball which without a chance for the goalkeeper went staright up into the goalkeepers left cross. Thanks to some nice moves Carlton Moxon could shoot a difficult shot in the 33rd minute, which Kristian Cain however easily saved by the left post. Chip Carey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Husbands Bosworth FC's goal looked a bit too open when Chip Carey came free, but Matty Howard reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 39th minute Ollie Curtis shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Kristian Cain saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ollie Curtis fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Cain having to interfere. When Ollie Curtis came up free with the goalie in the 45th minute, the Husbands Bosworth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ollie Curtis couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Carlton Moxon received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 53rd minute. Kristian Cain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Husbands Bosworth FC getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Syd Crouch hit a great ball. After 57 minutes, Ollie Curtis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Husbands Bosworth FC and the Manchester City players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Husbands Bosworth FC's Ollie Curtis got a free kick in the 57th minute. Ollie Curtis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 60th minute. Kristian Cain tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Carlton Moxon in the 62nd minute of play forced Manchester City's goalkeeper Kristian Cain to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 67 minutes into the game, Syd Crouch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Husbands Bosworth FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Manchester City the free kick. Matty Howard made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Lloyd Alsford sent off a good shot on target. Syd Crouch kicked well hit freekick during the 75th minute of the match. Mike Searle's late challenge caught a Husbands Bosworth FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mike Searle helped the player get up and apologised. In the 85th minute, Mike Searle hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 86 played minutes Manchester City got a freekick which was hit by Mike Searle. After 90 minutes of play, Husbands Bosworth FC's Carlton Moxon made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Kristian Cain was left in no man's land by his defense there! With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlton Moxon in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kristian Cain saved Manchester City from getting behind. When Lloyd Alsford came up free with the goalie in the 96th minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lloyd Alsford couldn't finish the play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Husbands Bosworth FC fully deserved thier win.
