Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Highbury and Islington FC's Damian Cawood started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ollie Curtis in the 2nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huey Ashton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Carlton Watson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. After 6 played minutes Highbury and Islington FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlton Watson. Perry Woodward struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Matty Howard didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Highbury and Islington FC. Carlton Moxon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Ollie Curtis came up free with the goalie in the 20th minute, the Husbands Bosworth FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ollie Curtis couldn't finish the play. In the 23rd match minute, Highbury and Islington FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Russ Messenger to maneuver through the defense. Huey Ashton showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ollie Curtis, who was totally free with the ball in the 24th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Carlton Moxon in the 28th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Huey Ashton saved Highbury and Islington FC from getting behind. Huey Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlton Moxon in the 29th minute of the match. After 34 minutes of play, Husbands Bosworth FC's Carlton Moxon made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Huey Ashton was left in no man's land by his defense there! When the match had gone on for 38 minutes, Ollie Curtis put it in 0-2 from a short distance just to the right of Huey Ashton. 43 minutes into the game, Syd Crouch was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Husbands Bosworth FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Highbury and Islington FC the free kick. Syd Crouch kicked well hit freekick during the 44th minute of the match. Perry Woodward received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Matty Howard tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 48th minute the ball was on its way in behind Highbury and Islington FC's goalkeeper Huey Ashton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Ollie Curtis was the one to do the kick off. Highbury and Islington FC's Huey Ashton played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ollie Curtis in the 52nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ollie Curtis in the 53rd minute of play forced Highbury and Islington FC's goalkeeper Huey Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Bradley Cambridge kicked well hit freekick during the 54th minute of the match. Ollie Curtis might have been able to make a better finish in the 56th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Huey Ashton. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ollie Curtis ran back to his position shaking his head. Carlton Moxon recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 59th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Carlton Moxon fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Husbands Bosworth FC's protests and gave Carlton Moxon a yellow card for diving instead. In the 61st match minute, Husbands Bosworth FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Carlton Moxon to maneuver through the defense. Carlton Moxon struck a weak shot in the 69th minute. In the 74th minute, Damian Cawood left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Highbury and Islington FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-2. 77 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ollie Curtis came free, but Huey Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Highbury and Islington FC's zone, Carlton Moxon stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Huey Ashton came out of the goal and Carlton Moxon tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Highbury and Islington FC's goalkeeper Huey Ashton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. When Carlton Watson fell near the penalty area in the 81st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. After 81 played minutes Highbury and Islington FC got a freekick which was hit by Carlton Watson. Husbands Bosworth FC's Ollie Curtis got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 87th minute, Ollie Curtis managed to get in a good position for a shot. Husbands Bosworth FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ollie Curtis was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Huey Ashton breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Husbands Bosworth FC's Syd Crouch got a free kick in the 90th minute. Russ Messenger, 91 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. 96 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington FC's Perry Woodward sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Matty Howard narrowly saved just below the crossbar.
