Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Chip Carey made the kick off which started today's match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Chip Carey in the 5th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Huey Ashton prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 10th minute the ball was on its way in behind Highbury and Islington FC's goalkeeper Huey Ashton, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After 10 played minutes Highbury and Islington FC got a freekick which was hit by Alistair Pope. 11 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lloyd Alsford came free, but Huey Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Perry Woodward had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kristian Cain. Manchester City's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Perry Woodward was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. A collision led to Highbury and Islington FC getting a freekick after 20 minutes play. Marlon Cooper hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lloyd Alsford in the 25th minute of play forced Highbury and Islington FC's goalkeeper Huey Ashton to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Huey Ashton showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Chip Carey in the 26th minute of the match. An unexpected shot in the 28th minute by Damian Cawood got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Damian Cawood in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Kristian Cain prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Chip Carey came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Manchester City fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Chip Carey couldn't finish the play. 33 minutes into the match, Highbury and Islington FC's goal looked a bit too open when Lloyd Alsford came free, but Huey Ashton reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Manchester City's Lloyd Alsford got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristian Cain took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Cawood, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chip Carey received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Huey Ashton tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Huey Ashton stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Chip Carey's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Damian Cawood was the one to do the kick off. If Chip Carey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Highbury and Islington FC's Huey Ashton proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 55th minute of the match, managed to save Highbury and Islington FC from getting a goal against them. In the 60th minute, Chip Carey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a little luck, Highbury and Islington FC's Huey Ashton got control of the ball when Lloyd Alsford tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 72 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Highbury and Islington FC! Keanu Pickford placed the ball on the penalty spot and got himself ready to shoot. Post out! Huey Ashton didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Manchester City's Chip Carey shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-2 in the ordered_time% minute. Highbury and Islington FC's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Chip Carey 85 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-3. Bradley Cambridge fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Kristian Cain having to interfere. Chip Carey's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Huey Ashton read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 94th minute of play. Alistair Pope kicked well hit freekick during the 95th minute of the match. Russ Messenger hit a great freekick 97 minutes into the match. Manchester City's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
