Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Ken Porter started the match with the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ken Porter in the 4th minute of play forced Eston's goalkeeper Sammy Hicks to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In a very dangerous position, a player in tottanham fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 8th minute. Penalty! Glyn Hoult kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. In the 15th minute Alan Roberts shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Lewis Norfolk saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Eston's Sammy Hicks played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ken Porter in the 18th minute of play. A collision led to tottanham getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Charles Woodhead hit a great ball. tottanham's Lewis Norfolk played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alan Roberts in the 26th minute of play. The audience was convinced that Alan Roberts's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Lewis Norfolk was relentless in the 29th minute of the game. Glyn Hoult kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. Lewis Norfolk didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Pete Delaney went, in the 34th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-0 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, Eston's Alan Roberts got a free kick in the 39th minute. 42 minutes into the match, Matty Davenport notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of Eston's Sammy Hicks. Sammy Hicks was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-1.

Lewis Norfolk took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pete Delaney, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eston's Alan Roberts got a good chance for a goal in the 55th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ken Porter received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 57th minute. Sammy Hicks tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Alan Roberts struck a weak shot in the 60th minute. Lewis Norfolk didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Eston. In the 63rd minute of the match, Ken Porter tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Sammy Hicks saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Sammy Hicks showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ken Porter in the 65th minute of the match. Lewis Norfolk came out of the goal in the 68th minute to try and stop a shot by Eston's Alan Roberts. But to his dismay, Alan Roberts quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-1. Lewis Norfolk made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pete Delaney in the 73rd minute of play. When Matty Davenport came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the tottanham fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Matty Davenport couldn't finish the play. Ken Porter sent away a hard shot on goal in the 93rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. If Matty Davenport had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Eston's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
