Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Hugh Phippard kicked off to start the match. Hugh Phippard fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 7th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Nat Hassell having to interfere. Iain Milton received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 8th minute. Nat Hassell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nat Hassell showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hugh Phippard, who was totally free with the ball in the 10th minute. After 13 minutes, Basil Clifton mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Walthamstow City and the Ilford Town Fc players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nat Hassell stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Hugh Phippard's shot from short distance in the 17th minute. Iain Milton took the ball and in the 18 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Nat Hassell. Nat Hassell dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Rupert Morrell in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dale Folan prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Rupert Morrell fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dale Folan having to interfere. Stan Morrison took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 31st minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Dale Folan. Walthamstow City's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Dale Folan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rupert Morrell, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Dale Folan came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Ilford Town Fc's Rupert Morrell. But to his dismay, Rupert Morrell quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Lewis Smith hit a great freekick 39 minutes into the match. Aaron Pitt scored 1-2 in the 41st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dale Folan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 46th match minute, Walthamstow City was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Keiran Pitman to maneuver through the defense. The Walthamstow City players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Ilford Town Fc were winning 1-2.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Rupert Morrell made a kick off. If Aaron Pitt had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
