Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) An unexpectedly hard shot by Harvey Ainge in the 3rd minute of play forced Chattenden Critters's goalkeeper Vance Knight to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Alastair Mahon sent away a hard shot on goal in the 6th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Chattenden Critters's Vance Knight proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Chattenden Critters from getting a goal against them. 10 minutes into the game, Chattenden Critters's Daniel King nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Ashley Bettney made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Tommy Elding's late challenge caught a Frome City's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Tommy Elding helped the player get up and apologised. After 14 played minutes Chattenden Critters got a freekick which was hit by Tommy Elding. Ashley Bettney showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kasey Bourne, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Kasey Bourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 29th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Bettney having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kasey Bourne in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ashley Bettney prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vance Knight made an important save on a dangerous shot by Alastair Mahon in the 33rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Frome City's zone, Daniel King stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ashley Bettney came out of the goal and Daniel King tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 40th match minute, Chattenden Critters was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tommy Elding to maneuver through the defense. 41 minutes into the match, Bryan Clayton dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Vance Knight, 1-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Kasey Bourne stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Ian Lawless fell near the penalty area in the 60th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Frome City's protests and gave Ian Lawless a yellow card for diving instead. Ian Lawless hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. Kasey Bourne fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Bettney having to interfere. The supporters of Chattenden Critters booed when Frome City was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harvey Ainge didn't get a good kick on the ball. Chattenden Critters's Kasey Bourne got a good chance for a goal in the 65th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 67 minutes into the match, Frome City's Alastair Mahon sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Vance Knight narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Frome City's Ashley Bettney proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 69th minute of the match, managed to save Frome City from getting a goal against them. Chattenden Critters's Kasey Bourne got a good chance for a goal in the 70th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Daniel King fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ashley Bettney having to interfere. Bryan Clayton scored 2-2 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Vance Knight, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 90th minute, Chattenden Critters's Kasey Bourne dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-3. When the final whistle sounded Chattenden Critters left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Frome City.
