Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Vic Ely took the kick off in the first half of the match. After having played for 3 minutes, Johnathan Mann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Redruth AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Johnathan Mann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. A collision led to Redruth AFC getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Marcus Coote hit a great ball. Wayne Jenkins could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 9th minute of the match, but Cliff Heywood made a huge save. After 10 played minutes Redruth AFC got a freekick which was hit by John Nelson. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Laurence Brownlow managed to get in a good position for a shot. Redruth AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Laurence Brownlow was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Ritchie Banim breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Johnathan Mann took the ball and in the 16 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ritchie Banim. Ritchie Banim dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Ritchie Banim stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Laurence Brownlow's shot from short distance in the 19th minute. Redruth AFC's Laurence Brownlow got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 28th minute, Tristan Dibb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurence Brownlow in the 31st minute of play forced Didcot's goalkeeper Ritchie Banim to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ritchie Banim took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Laurence Brownlow, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a rather tough play, Didcot's Liam Walton got a free kick in the 35th minute. 36 minutes into the game, Wayne Jenkins was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Didcot's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Redruth AFC the free kick. Cliff Heywood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Vic Ely, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After having played for 42 minutes, Johnathan Mann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Laurence Brownlow sent away a hard shot on goal in the 43rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Laurence Brownlow was the one to do the kick off. After 52 played minutes Redruth AFC got a freekick which was hit by Marcus Coote. 60 minutes into the match, Redruth AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Wayne Jenkins came free, but Cliff Heywood reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Redruth AFC's Johnathan Mann came free and shot a quick shot against goal 62 minutes in the game, fortunately Ritchie Banim had problems saving as it came toward the left post. When Wayne Jenkins came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Didcot fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Wayne Jenkins couldn't finish the play. Cliff Heywood took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wayne Jenkins, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 72nd match minute, Redruth AFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcus Coote to maneuver through the defense. Wayne Jenkins sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. John Nelson's late challenge caught a Didcot's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. John Nelson helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Redruth AFC's John Nelson got a free kick in the 76th minute. After 79 minutes Redruth AFC's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Sol Pallister who took care of the corner kick. Johnathan Mann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 82nd minute of the match, but Ritchie Banim made a huge save. Laurence Brownlow fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ritchie Banim having to interfere. With a little luck, Didcot's Ritchie Banim got control of the ball when Johnathan Mann tried to sneak it across the goal line. John Nelson received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Ritchie Banim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Laurence Brownlow recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 92nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Laurence Brownlow received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Ritchie Banim tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Johnathan Mann could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 96th minute of the match, but Ritchie Banim made a huge save. When the final whistle sounded Redruth AFC left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Didcot.
