But to his dismay, William Carter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-6.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell William Blackwater to make the kick off. In the 55th match minute, Maylandsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Byron Hamilton to maneuver through the defense. Denzil Little struck a weak shot in the 56th minute. Leon Brook didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for West Bromwich Albion. William Carter could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Leon Brook made a huge save. In the 88th minute, Stuart Davies left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maylandsea fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-7. Pierre Houghton's late challenge caught a West Bromwich Albion's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Pierre Houghton helped the player get up and apologised. In the 91st match minute, Maylandsea was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pierre Houghton to maneuver through the defense. If Ed Osborn had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Loyd Henry received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 95th minute. Zackary Byfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. West Bromwich Albion's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
