Zackary Byfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Junior Worrall in the 13thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Zackary Byfield, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Sid Bodsworth received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Zackary Byfield tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. William Blackwater sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 19 minutes, Nath Jones mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the West Bromwich Albion and the Haslingfield players grew even worse after the yellow card. Nath Jones hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. Junior Worrall could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Zackary Byfield made a huge save. Haslingfield's Martyn Duggan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by William Carter in the 30th minute of play. If William Carter had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Martyn Duggan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from William Carter, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sid Bodsworth in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Zackary Byfield prevented the ball from getting in the gole. If William Blackwater had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. William Blackwater recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 44th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After some careless play in the Haslingfield defense, William Carter kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Martyn Duggan. The Haslingfield fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Martyn Duggan should have stopped the shot.

The wind increased when Sid Bodsworth made the kick off in the second half. Martyn Duggan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from William Blackwater in the 55th minute of play. 58 minutes into the match, William Blackwater dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Martyn Duggan, 0-2. After having played for 67 minutes, Junior Worrall managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Haslingfield's supporters crossed their fingers, but Junior Worrall was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Zackary Byfield showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sid Bodsworth in the 69th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Haslingfield's zone, William Carter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martyn Duggan came out of the goal and William Carter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Haslingfield's Martyn Duggan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 87th minute of the match, managed to save Haslingfield from getting a goal against them. In the 89th minute William Blackwater shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Martyn Duggan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Blackwater was really disappointed when he shot the ball just outside the right post instead of scoring a goal in the 90th minute. West Bromwich Albion's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. William Blackwater received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 93rd minute. Martyn Duggan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing West Bromwich Albion would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
