Northallerton's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. If Kristopher Blackwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 41stth minute of the game Kristopher Blackwood who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Ephemeral Ghosts's Theo Beadle was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When Rupert Soares fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Ephemeral Ghosts's protests and gave Rupert Soares a yellow card for diving instead. Rupert Soares hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match. When Owen Hallam came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Northallerton fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Owen Hallam couldn't finish the play.

The wind increased when Richie Santos made the kick off in the second half. If Owen Hallam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kristopher Blackwood in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Theo Beadle prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Kristopher Blackwood blasted a shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Theo Beadle having to make a save. If Kristopher Blackwood had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kieran Eubank kicked well hit freekick during the 64th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owen Hallam in the 73rd minute of play forced Ephemeral Ghosts's goalkeeper Theo Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Owen Hallam had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 75th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Owen Hallam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Beadle having to interfere. Kristopher Blackwood sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Owen Hallam received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Theo Beadle tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Kristopher Blackwood fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Theo Beadle having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Owen Hallam in the 92nd minute of play forced Ephemeral Ghosts's goalkeeper Theo Beadle to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 93rd minute, Kieran Eubank hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 minutes Ephemeral Ghosts's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Michael Deveraux who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on Northallerton's corner Michael Deveraux fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Theo Beadle quite easily take care of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Northallerton had won after a very even match.
