Shawn McGurk made a fantastic save in the 12th minute, when Frazer Towler sent off a good shot on target. In the 13th play minute Frazer Towler came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Shawn McGurk. 1-0. After 19 minutes, Clive Braithwaite mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Paignton FC and the MeowMeowCats players grew even worse after the yellow card. Clive Braithwaite kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 27 minutes into the match, MeowMeowCats's goal looked a bit too open when Ross Hart came free, but Frank Cousens reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Jake French made a kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Syd East during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 52 played minutes MeowMeowCats got a freekick which was hit by Syd East. Jake French succeeded in the game's 54th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. Wesley Croyden's late challenge caught a Paignton FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. In the 63rd minute the ball was on its way in behind MeowMeowCats's goalkeeper Frank Cousens, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Ross Hart might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Frank Cousens. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. If Ross Hart had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 95 played minutes, MeowMeowCats's Frazer Towler shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Shawn McGurk came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in MeowMeowCats reached it. When the match had gone on for 96 minutes, Jake French took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Frank Cousens to make any attempt to save it.
